Abstract

|
Objectives: The purpose is to report the case of Korean medicine in the treatment of bilateral superior altitudinal hemianopia after a stroke.
Methods: The patient was treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bee venom, and herbal medicine. The visual field defect was assessed using humphrey visual field analyzer and confrontation visual field test.
Results: After treatment, humphrey visual field analyzer and confrontation visual field test showed improvement in field of vision
Conclusion: ? This study suggested that Korean medical treatment could be an effective option for treating visual field defect after stroke.
